SDSU Single Dorm as a Freshman?

Hello everyone!

I am looking into San Diego State Uni as a current high school junior ( out-of-state ). It’s one of my top schools. I was just wondering if it’s possible for a freshman to receive a single dorm room. At my local Uni, it’s very, very unlikely that would happen, but maybe it’s different for SDSU?

I have some emotional issues and would really love to be in my own dorm.

Any info is appreciated!

Thanks xx

Very very hard to do, but you’d have to check with the disabilities office.

Go to the housing website.
SDSU has a first come first served policy.
You may, or may not get a single because the school has limited housing.
Singles are expensive and in short supply.

As an OOS student, you may not be admitted because priority goes to instate residents.

Are your issues documented by a professional in the field? If so, contact Residential Life as well as the Office of Disabilities at the college.

I have had therapists for the past 9 years, and a psychiatrist for 2. Would that count? Thank you for your reply btw
