Sealed envelope?

I have a stupid question that has been haunting me since yesterday...My professors don't know much about US universities so they just completed the teacher report and the teacher evaluations forms and put them into an envelope. I sent the envelope, putting my address on top of it but the problem is that the envelope hasn't been sealed. However, my school transcripts showing grades are all sealed. Do I have to send everything again or can I just send a letter explaining what happened?

thank you for any help

Hey,ur in a delicate case then.......
Better ask the college(only best thing u can do!!)..

I have a stupid question. What does "sealed" mean? Does it mean stamped? Signed across the seal?

I think he probably means stamped or signed by the school authorities or the professors themselves.

It's a sticky situation, I admit. Only thing to do is contact the colleges as isaac mentioned. Also if you have copies of the recs, prepare sealed envelopes containing them just in case you have to sed them.

i asked my teachers to sign across the seal, is that enough? now after reading this post i'm glad i did that, because all my teachers forgot to sign. It didn't say in the instruction to the teachers that the envelopes need to be sealed . I'm glad I took the extra precaution.

btw, in the teacher evaluations, is it ok if the school stamps over the seal (instead of the teachers signing)?

yep NBZ, thats what mm did for me.

I think I did both!

hehe you can't get more careful than that!

I called Yale and they told me that it's not a problem.
