Second Batch of transcript loaded/acceptance letters.

Now is a week from the letter sent out of the first batch, it's about time for them to do the second batch. I know many engineering students included me still haven't hear anything yet.
Hopefully, we can hear something this week.

This is so irritating!

Allen89,

Did you select a backup major? If not, you won’t find out until August. The College of Engineering does a second and separate admissions process, for which they just opened the application. You’re accepted into the engineering department, then you’re accepted into UW.

I’m also applying for engineering, but I selected a backup major.

@Meesh. Does that apply to other majors too?
I applied for design but I got rejected by them. If I get transferred, I’ll be a sophomore
so I didn’t put in a backup major. But I do have a plan for a backup now. I just didn’t have one during the time of applying. Would this be problematic?

@cjwn123. I’m honestly not sure. With engineering, if you’re not accepted into the department and didn’t select a backup major then you do not get into UW as anything.

I hope that isn’t the case for you. :-/

@Meesh. Both my first and second major are from the engineering department( EE and INDE). does that mean I have to wait until august ? That’s$@$%}^{^]^%#.

I already got an offer from UIUC, and their fall semester begin at august 22nd!!

@Allen89

Yes.

I completely agree. I had a lot of friends last year end up going to WSU because they had to get housing settled and they knew they were in.

@Meesh. I hope so too. But I don’t think they would reject me just becaue of that.
Since there’s more than majors that define my individuality. Thank you for your help :)

bump

plus more characters because I need at least 10

Just got my rejection letter.

Maybe next year…

@Ponyo. I’m so sorry to hear that. Never give up. There’s always a chance as long as you continue to work hard.
