Apparently I'm asked to do a phone interview now, a couple weeks after my in-person alumni interview. Anybody have this happen to them? Anyone know what it means? Anyone know what it's going to be like? I'm freakin' out here because she wants a call back ASAP.

I wouldn’t worry about it. You’ll do great! (:

Thanks.

I know the thread’s old, but just in case it happens to anyone else, I might as well post my experience.

The woman interviewing me was co-chair of admissions for my state. The interview seemed to test my interest in actually attending the school and my interest in Philadelphia. A lot of questions were about how I anticipated my experience at UPenn and in Philly. I’m extremely glad I visited else I wouldn’t have known how to answer anything (although I knew I was going to be happy attending Penn anyway). To me, it seemed like a way to discern the sincerity of my application, to make sure that I wasn’t just some kid looking for the prestige of an Ivy League.

I got accepted as well, so I can’t have done too bad.
