So, I filled out the Common App and printed out the nicely filled out SSR for my counselor. However, he downloaded the blank form from the Common App site, and filled it out for me. While mine had the little tag at the bottom of each page, specifying my Common App number and name, his did not. Other than that, his is complete, while mine needs his feedback. I told him that I thought having the name on the bottom printed out was extremely important, and thus that he should use mine. Am I overestimating the importance of the printing of the name, or not? He can't type in the downloaded .pdf of my version, either, while he can in his, so having him fill out my form isn't an option unless there is some special way to do so in Adobe Acrobat...

I think not having the name/student ID on the bottom will just complicate things. (IE: might get misfiled, delay process of your app.)

It will be okay as he did it. He has done it this way before. He will have a copy of what he did and if by some small chance they lose it he can send it again.

Gladly, I found a free program that enables me to enter text into a PDF, so I can have both a typed out name and SSR. The only thing my counselor really needs to do is place checkmarks.

That being said, I think he made a couple mistakes on it. Firstly, he put our passing mark as 56%. I'm not sure what passing mark is, but I think it is the lowest percentage you can get to pass a class. That makes sense, since our D is 65% and above. Is this line of thinking correct? Secondly, he didn't put in the day our graduation, just the month and year. Is this acceptable, or should I tell him to add the day as well?
