Hi. My son is a sophomore aero major. He struggled this past semester after doing fairly well freshmen year. He wants to join one of the race teams such as SAE Or Baja because companies at career fairs are recommending it but he has been told it is a major time commitment and he is unsure if he can handle it and the difficult academic demands. He is currently in matching band and he would really hate to drop it. Any current student or recent grad able to give any perspective on how to balance this? Thanks in advance.
Marching band is a major time commitment and should be recognized as such. I would not take on another major one.
