Selecting High School on the SAT Registration Form

<p>Is there any reason not to fill out your high school on the Registration form for the SATs? Just curious if anybody thought there were any negative consequences for doing so.</p>

<p>Many high schools insist upon putting your test scores on your transcript–all of your test scores. And then they insist on sending all those test scores to the colleges you apply to.</p>

<p>In case you don’t want all your test scores to appear on your high school transcript, you could consider not releasing your scores to your high school. You could even consider taking your ACT or SAT at a neighboring school just to make sure your high school doesn’t get your scores.</p>
