So I took both the OLD and NEW SAT.
My score for (Reading / Writing + Math) improved by 130 point in the NEW SAT. But my essay score decreased from 10 (in OLD SAT) to 17 (so 8.5) in the NEW SAT. But in common app, when I choose OLD SAT option, it does not have a section for reporting an essay score. Does this mean I should use new sat’s essay score?
