I want to apply to 6-7 universities. I need some guidance on where I should be applying and some advice on how to transfer. Please give me a few suggestions.

What is your budget (what can your family afford)?

Well, the main reason I am attending the university that I am currently was to save money. There is no budget. My parents are willing to pay as much as needed. No sarcasm or boasting intended.

If those are your grades in college Engineering classes, I should think you would be welcomed into most of the top 30 engineering programs in the country… let’s say USNWR Universities ranked 30-100. Georgia Tech, etc.

^^ Thank you for your response.

I have taken Intro to engineering, Chemistry 200 level with lab, Biology 100 level with lab, Economics (Micro), Calculus 1,2 and 3, Physics (with Lab), English Composition and a 200 level Technical writing class, Computer science (c++ AND java training) and 4 Mechanical engineering classes such as Thermodynamics, differential equations and a few math based physics classes.

Any specific reaches or matches for me?

Bump

Purdue, UMich (a reach), Ohio State, Case Western

Do you think my HS grades and SAT’s will affect the decision. Also, are there any last moment improvements that I can make in order to increase my chances?

If I had to apply to a maximum of 6 universities, which 6 should I apply to?

SAT isn’t considered as a Junior transfer.

I’m not in touch with Engineering schools, but almost all state Flagships are great at engineering… it’s part of their charter, and conversely, not that many Privates put much resource (or don’t even offer) engineering.

Thanks a lot for the advice.

BUMP

Anymore suggestions?
