Selection Dilemna

I am an International Student from India and I am currently having a problem in choosing which University to attend from Fall 2011. I got into University of Texas at Austin, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Purdue University for Aerospace Engineering (Undergraduate Program). Could u pls advice me on which University do u think is better for the above mentioned course. Not only based on academics but everything else also like the place where they are situated, the party life, students etc.

Thanx

UTexas would probably give you the best “all around college experience.”

Purdue is the highest ranked of the 3 for aerospace engineering…and would also provide a good campus experience.

I don’t think you can go wrong at any of them, but for the best all around experience and weather and (probably) prettier girls (LOL), UT might be the best choice. UT is ranked #11 for overall engineering, so you can’t go wrong there.

I would say UT first and U of I second choice

but isnt UIUC engineering better than that of Austin!? and wat would you have to say about both the places?

Really, all of these are excellent institutions. You can safely choose one based on price, weather, access to transportation home, or any other factor that matters to you.

I grew up in the Midwest, and can tell you that the winters at UIUC and Purdue will be brutally cold, and the summers will be brutally hot. If you don’t want to spend money on a winter wardrobe, go to UT.
