I hope your young scholar is doing well and feels better - as I am reading this almost a year after. I am interested in knowing whether the BCD experience brought in other positivities for him/her in terms of academic interest, school admission, and school performance.
Hi, @Heading2HS - he’s headed to Exeter in the fall, so he’s moved on to a new set of worries
The CDB application was helpful as a dry run, so to speak, in preparing applications, requesting recommendations and writing thoughtful personal essays. Having seen my nieces and nephews really struggle doing those activities for the first time in college applications, I’m glad he’s now had 2 full application cycles of practice prior to college. I don’t think it changed a lot about how he approached school performance/interests, as he was a very academically-focused kid to start with.
