Self-Preparation for SAT World History.

Hi, I'm a student planning to self-study SAT world history and take the exam in December.

But I'm confused about what books to buy. (PR, Barrons, Kaplan, and so on)

Can anyone offer an opinion on what book he/she found most useful?

Thank you so much.

Hey I’m studying for world history too!.. nice to have a companion… haha
Anyways, I’m bought Barron’s and Kaplan since their reviews were pretty good… I think Barron’s has a bit more information than Kaplan though, but relatively the same… I’ve also heard to try Princeton Review’s… good luck and tell me how it goes!

Well that makes three of us! lol. I have PR and it is a nice overview, but I’m thinking it’s probably not so great on the details. I’ll probably get Barron’s AP a little later on as well, which I would hope (?) has more depth.

Make that 4 of us  I’m mostly using Barron’s since it seems the most thorough.

Kaplan is very good. Better than Barron’s. But as I said before, it doesn’t cover anything about the art or geography or anything other than history events for that matter. So use Barron’s for that.

So would Barron’s AP or SAT II be a better idea?
