self-reporting scores

When you are filling out the commonapp, do you have to include ALLL the tests that you've taken? or just report the ones that appear on your transcript?

or what?

on my transcripts, I have two ACT scores: a 27 and a 31.

do i need to write down my 27 ACT score on my commonapp if i'm only sending in my 31? even if my transcript has both on it?

What about my sat scores? i know i will write them all down. but there was one SAT that i took this december and did WORSE in... but i don't think the colleges will get this score because i sent out my transcript and my SAT scores before i got the score back.

do i still have to write in the december sat score on my commonapp?

You don't have to report anything you aren't sending in...

^ i listened to your advice and filled out the commonapp.

and i just realized....

when my midyear school report comes out, they'll all of a sudden see the SAT that i took this december and did WORSE in. and then i also forgot to mention that i took another ACT this december and did worse in it as well. the schools will also see that ACT score TOO! as well as the 27 that i did so badly with!

will they think i was being dishonest and purposely leaving off those scores once they see the transcripts?

???????????????????????????????????????????????

You're transcripts aren't official scores...so to speak. Colleges only look at your highest test scores. I think I went ahead and filled out SAT scores for most of my schools because they're on my transcript anyway.

I put my highest ACT of two of them.

I did terrible on the SAT 2s, so I just put down the three that I'm taking in Jan. However, I did send them the SAT report with all the past scores. Most schools will take the ACT in replacement of the SAT reasoning and subject, so yeah. I don't know. I hope they disregard my SAT Subject test scores.

I'm in the same situation. All three of my ACT tests appear on my high school transcript, but I am only officially sending in one through the testing agency. On Part I of the application for the college I'm applying to, I put down that I took all three, but didn't need to put down the scores. Should I report all three scores on the common app section? Or should I just report my best?

Just ask your high school counselor to leave off the extraneous information from your midyear transcript report

^I can't--for whatever reason, my hs sends every test score, whether I want them to or not.

Anyone care to comment on my post/situation above? Deadlines are approaching...=) Thanks

Bump!!!!!!!!!!! I Would Also Like To Know This!!!
