Self-study: AP Environmental Science or European History?

I'll also be taking AP Calculus BC (if I pass the AB exam...), Government, and Biology next year.

I loved AP World History and got a 5 on the exam, so I'm leaning a bit towards European History. But then again, I hear it's hard. Environmental Science sounds interesting, but I can't really get much help from teachers (for AP Euro, I could ask my APWH teacher)...

What do you think?

well.. for euro, my teacher told us funny stories but we were always behind and didn't even get to cold war, etc. i got a 5.. but probably barely. BUT the good thing is, you don't need to know any history to do the DBQ! they're nearly always on weird topics.. just analyzing docs, unlike apush where you actually need some outside info.

idk about environmental science, but if you really like world history, do euro. i'm sure with proper motivation you can learn stuff yourself. personally i find it 928347895x more interesting than apush. =)

haha this probably wasn't helpful at all.

Well I just took the Euro exam an there were alot of AP World students there. Most of them didnt study thinking they could pass it but its not really like that in Euro. I World is more general things, broad ideas, where as Euro is much more specific i.e. SPECIFIC reigns of a monarch, treaties, reform bills, events obscure, and some quote identifying. If you'll take bio next year it will somewhat easier to do enviro at the same time but its about personal choice.

APES is overall a MUCH easier test than AP Euro. Go with that.

"and didn't even get to cold war"

this year's euro test had less than 5 questions about post-WW2

This one seemed freaking hard though (at least the MC)

I agree with above.

the answer choices were pretty hard, IMO, not the questions themselves.

Euro is easy to self study, but envi sci is much easier.
