Self-Study for AP European History - is ir realistic?

I'll try to keep this brief. I' from outside the US. I unsuccessfully crammed for AP World last year and got a 3 (but all I did was read through the material a week before the exam and write two practice essays). This year I'm really motivated to study hard. I've never taken a history course taught in English, let alone an AP course. If I start today, is it realistic to aim for a 5?

I'm taking this exam for UK universities, so it's not for college credit; I REALLY need to get a 5 to get admitted to the university I want.

It is possible, but to be honest, it’s will take a lot of work to even be likely. AP European isn’t particularly difficult, but it’s very extensive, and there is a lot of information you need to cover.

If you do need this class so desperately, then go for it - just start as soon as you possibly can, and be committed.

Truthfully, now is a little late to start from scratch. Euro with a class results in two hr hw each night, so a lot of dedication is needed
