Hey I was wondering if anyone knows any good books to study for SAT II

I am going to take

US History (I have taken AP USH, APUSGOV and have PR review book for APUSH)

as for MathIIC I am in Calc (I have one arco SAT II math) I got it for free and I was wondering if there are any better books - I basically know all the stuff but need to practice because I won't be able to finish on time at this rate

and lastly I was considering AP Bio E/M (I took the placement exam and was allowed in AP Bio this year, but didn't fit my schedule) So I haven't studied bio in 4 years, but I have CLiffs AP bio book is this good enough to study for SAT II or is there another alternative?

sorry for the sloppy post, but thanks for the help

so basically will this method suffice? or should I pick up some other books or try something else?

but as for math IIC, get the official CB book with two administered tests. If you know most of the material, that book should be good to get a perfect.

alright thanks I’ll look into the official CB book, I imagine I should know most of the stuff, maybe a few things I don’t remember, but will remember after reviewing

Also if I use cliffsap for BIO any suggestions for Bio E or Bio M

I used the Cliffnotes AP Biology book for my AP test and the SAT.
I got a 5 on the AP test simply by memorizing every sentence in that book.
And I just used it for this last SAT II test date for the Biology test, and it helped A LOT. To me at least, the subject test is just as detailed as the AP test, so it really came in handy. I’m hoping for a 770+.

I have Barrons, PR, and CliffsAP and CliffsAP has soo much stuff that is not covered in Barrons/PR/Sparknotes. I think it’s cause it’s tailored to the AP test (which tests a greater content area)

For US History, I would suggest you review the Sparknotes book. It’s just a basic review of the material of the test and reading through it will help refresh your mind. They also have 8 practice tests in there, and from what people say, they are a pretty accurate (maybe a bit harder than the real thing).

mabsjenbu, do you think it will be necessary to buy Barrons/PR I basically have one shot in Jan. to do good, so I want to make sure I have the best resources available

thanks Malfunction - I’m pretty much set for SAT II US History, just going to practice and go over what I get wrong. What is the usual curve on SATII US?
