Self-Study

Hey is it possible to self study a year of spanish? I am a rising sophomore and I took spanish 1 my freshman year. I want to be able to take AP Spanish my junior year to boost my GPA. Does it make sense/is it possible to complete spanish 2 and 3 sophomore year?

It’s better, in my opinion, to have Spanish taught to you (all languages really) in a classroom setting.

It’s possible, but your better off self studying spanish 2 and taking spanish 3 this year. Otherwise, you can see if your school will allow you to take spanish 2 and 3 simultaneously, although your spanish 3 grade may suffer while you’re catching up.

How can i get credit for selfstudying spanish 2

I say take AP Spanish Senior year, your spanish 3 grade WILL to the opposite of helping your GPA otherwise. Spanish 1 is NOTHING compared to spanish 2 or 4.

Is it that big of a deal that spanish 3 will drop my gpa cuz it isnt weighted

depends on how your school does gpas but unweighted wise yes
