<p>To keep it short and sweet, I did not get a good score on Ap Lang or Ap Us History. I want to retake at least one. </p>
<p>Which one of those two would be better to self study for? Or is studying for both manageable?</p>
<p>APUSH is probably easier to self study for. AP Lang is in large part about the essays. These essays are easy, when you have practice and feedback. With self studying, you wouldn’t have the feedback necessary to improve your essays. APUSH too has essays, but they are largely about vomiting information. APUSH is memorizing information, which would probably be easier to self study for.</p>
<p>I agree - APUSH is mainly about memorization of info and can be self-studied effectively by just reading the book thoroughly and then maybe using a review book to consolidate everything. It would be difficult to self-study English Language, especially without feedback on essays and such. So in short, I would go with APUSH.</p>
