I’m taking 12 hours in the fall semester. I want to self-study an AP course at my own pace and earn hours by taking an AP Exam next spring.

Which course should I self study? Which is easy to self study and what exams, in your experience, were easy to pass?

Can I somehow get a textbook for that course or is that not possible?

I’ve already taken US History, English Language, English Lit, Macroeconomics, Government and Politics, and Chemistry, so none of those.

I second ftc123 in saying Psychology. I self-studied it and got a 5 easily - it's, for the most part, pretty simple.. mostly memorization.

The only ways I can think for you to get a textbook for the course would be to either get one through the school (ask a teacher who teaches the subject you choose, if there is one) or by taking it as an online course and using whatever book they provide. However, for most "easy" APs, a study guide such as 5 steps to a 5 or Princeton Review will suffice to teach you everything you need to know.

I've narrowed it down to Pyschology, Environmental Science, Microeconomics, or World History.

The thing about World History is my brother is taking it this year, so I could use his textbook and notes and we could just share a study guide, so that's something to consider.
