Self-Studying APs

Quick question - if I were to self-study an AP, where would I sign up to take its respective AP exam (if my school doesn't offer it), and where would it most likely be located?

Thank you.

Call up other schools in your area that do offer it, or call up a private school.

even if your school doesnt offer it, they can still order the exam for you

Some schools, like mine, doesn't even do that. :(

In my situation, I have been self studying the material, but not enrolled in the class offered(though I have been sitting in and watching w/o missing any classtime.)

Nevertheless, the school says they will not administer the test to students who are not enrolled in the class, is there still a way I can get the school to let me take it there?(note, its not even a matter of them not administering the test, other students will take it because they are enrolled, since i am not, i can't.)

Although there might be a easier and more moral way, your best chance would probably to have your parents go up and fuss the school out about how you spent all that time learning the material on your own and they won't let you get credit for it.

^ or you could just go take it in anothr school nearby

Well...at least for my school, you can sign up for whatever test you want. Other schools around offer the AP test, so you just go there and take it.

Call them during school (the other one) and ask them if you can take a test there. They will let you. You just have to pay for it. You could call after school but some schools the GC ppl rush out when the bell rings.

No, they have to have the test. You might have to call around a few schools in your area to find one that does. Or just keep *****ing at your school.

My school offers APs and I'm taking 3 there (APUSH, APES, and AP Spanish Language), but the two that I want to self-study for they do not offer (AP Human Geography and AP World History, as these are new courses/tests). When we signed up for AP's the only ones that were offered were the ones that there were courses for (26 of them) though we could sign up for it even if we wernt in the course (I did so with APES). Would I ask my AP coordinator to order the two tests that I want to take or should I contact the other schools that offer the tests I want to take (I already found them) directly
