Self-studying APs

I plan on self-studying some combination of the following:
Macroeconomics
Microeconomics
Comparative government and politics
Statistics
European History

I just had a few questions about this. First of all, would it be of any benefit for me to do this in regards to college applications? I have taken five AP classes junior year (chemistry, psychology, environmental science, us history, and literature. I scored a 3,3,4,4, and 5 respectively). This year I am enrolled in literature, calculus AB, human geography, us government, and biology. How long would it take me to self-study each of these courses if I reasonably expect to score a 5 on the AP exams? Also, which books would you most recommend me buying for self study?

I think it may help you

Since you’re in calculus, Stats should be easy. Economics, Human Geography, and Gov are some of the ‘easier’ courses, too. I’m surprised that you’re retaking literature after a 5, though.

Books…

Economics: Mankiw’s textbook, PR, and 5 Steps
Comparative Government: Ethel Wood’s guide is brilliant
European History: PR, Crash Course, and Viault’s Modern European History

Hope that helps!

Oooops… I meant I got a 5 in language last year… Hahaha that’s embarrassing.
But, yes, thanks!!

Will I need textbooks for stats and comparative government?
