Self Studying for AP exams- is this a good plan?

I’m studying for 4 ap exams: Stats, micro, macro, and government.

These are my resources:
Crash course US Government and Politics (book)
Crash Course Microeconomics (book)
Crash Course Macroeconomics (book)
Crash Course Statistics (book)
Princeton Review: Cracking the AP macro & micro exams (book)
Princeton Review: Crackig the AP statistics exam (book)
Barron’s AP statistics (book)
Barron’s AP US government and politics notecards

My plan:
First, I want to go through each Crash Course book. I’m not just going to read them, but I’m going to go through each book thoroughly. I want to take notes, make and study note cards for facts, vocabulary, formulas, equations etc. I pretty much want to know these books inside and out. My goal is to have done this by early April.

Once I have gone through each Crash Course book, I want to take a practice test for each subject to see where I am at. Then, based on my scores, I will go through the Princeton Review/ Barron’s resources for the subjects I need more work on.

By May 1st, I want to be completely done learning content and therefore will just be reviewing for whatever ap test comes first.

Now, I did not just pull these subjects out of a hat and said I was going to take the AP test. I have a strong math background (760) on math portion of SAT, and therefore I feel comfortable styudying for stats. Last year I self studied and received a 5 on my APUSH test and I feel that some information may overlap with AP Government. And Economics is something I really enjoy learning about so I’m more than motivated to study for it.

However, Im wondering if this is a good study plan. I want to get at least a 4 on each test. My personal concern with this plan is that the AP stats crash Course book does not have the best reviews. So if anyone has used this book please let me know how you feel about it.

Test prep books will focus on teaching to the test, not truly learning the underlying material. You should have a textbook as well as a test prep book for each course. Starting in February to learn the material for four APs is a pretty aggressive study plan with little room for error. Good luck!
