Self studying for AP Psych and AP Environmental in ninth grade?

I've recently completed grade 8, so I wil be in ninth grade at the end of summer. I was wondering how difficult it would be to self study for the AP Psyh and Environmental Science in May of my freshman year of HS. The science course I did in eight grade was a pretty intensive physics course where we learned all kinds of thing including many topics that are included on the AP Enviro exam. If I got the Barron's prep book and took a bunch of practice tests starting this summer and all through freshman year, what are the chances of me scoring a 4 or 5 on it?

For the AP Psychology exam, I heard it was really easy. I also find the topic interesting so again, what are my chances of getting a 4 or 5 on it if I use Barron's and practice tests this summer and throughout grade 9?

By the way, my school doesn't offer AP courses and are heard these to were easy.

Thanks!

You don’t need Barron’s for APES. You just need PR and CC, the FRQs, and the 1998 released exam. One-two months of studying -> easy 5.

thanks! what about pshchology?

IceQube is right. Both APES and AP Psych are very easy. I self studied both tests my sophomore year and scored a 4 on Environ and a 5 on Psych. All I did for APES was read PR and do a couple practice tests. For Psych, I read Barrons and reviewed vocab with the Barrons flashcards. The Psych test is basically vocab so I recommend hitting vocab. Also, review previous exams for both tests so you know what to expect. Good luck. I’m sure you’ll be fine considering both of these tests are very easy compared to some of the other ones.

Beware though, both of these tests are on the same day and you may feel exhausted by the Psych exam, but keep your head high. If you tell yourself that the Psych exam is a joke, it will be. Haha.
