self teaching bio for Biology SAT II?

Here is my situation. I am taking the literature and chemistry SAT II's this june, but I'm very worried about how I'll do on the chemistry SAT II. I keep thinking that I would do a lot better on biology, but I took chemistry, not biology, this year. The only biology course I have had was a basic one in 10th grade required for all 10th graders at my school. I was thinking of studying during the summer with a prep book or two for the bio exam; would this be sufficient to get a good score? By good I mean in the high 700s. And could I even take this test in november, since i'm going to be a senior in the fall? Im taking the SAT again in october, so i can't take subject tests then.
thank you!

also, i forgot to add, i am taking biology in senior year, so i would have a couple months of a bio class in addition to prepping on my own.

yeah i guess that could work, but you have to be really commited to studying over the summer

Yeah, actually self-studying bio is extremely easy. Just memorize and read. (Unlike Chem or Physics…)

but it is always good to have a nice background in biology which makes memorizing those extensive chapters of barrons not so bad and does anyone know where i can get some free practcie tests beside sparknotes

If you are dedicated, you can definitely self-study Biology over the summer. I would recommend a combination of Barron’s and PR.

barrons for the real concise stuff, and PR for s general overview
