semi bright, bewildered and confused

<p>OK here goes, this is all new to me
I am a white, male, junior in an Academic public HS (I think its ranked as the 15th public HS in the country) and just waking up to all this college stuff. Not sure what I can do at this point but I am realizing that I really want to find a school that is great for math and the sciences, esp. physics. Didn't do that great 1st 2 yrs.
Freshmen year:
AP World Hist-C
English 1 H-A
Health/Gym-B/A
Geometry H-A
Spanish 1 H-B
Into to Art-A
Biology H-A</p>

<p>Sophmore:
Algebra 2 H-A
US history 1 H-B
English 2 H-A
World Lit-B
Chemistry H-A
Health/Gym-A/A
CAP/Geoscience-B/A
Spanish 2 H-B</p>

<p>This year I'm taking AP Stats, AP chem, English H, Spanish H, Physics H, and Precalc H, all of which im getting an A in, and AP history, which im getting a high B in so far.
SATs (diagnostic):Math-740, Verbal-620, Writing-560</p>

<p>Next year the big classes im going to take are AP Claculus AB/BC and AP Physics B.</p>

<p>For EC's: Fencing, Science Research, Nike Golf Camp, Math club, Math tutoring, and applied to PROMYS math camp for this summer.</p>

<p>As you can see im not that great in english/writing area, but I am good at math and science and really love phisics.
Anyone have any ideas for me on good colleges I have a chance at and any tips for bettering my chances?</p>

<p>Renssalear Polytech, Stevens Tech, Rochester Tech, and Lehigh and Carnegie Mellon as reaches come to mind.</p>
