I took seven-week classes at Harvard Summer School before my junior year, and I’m wondering if I should send that transcript to other Ivy Leagues such as Princeton…since they’re kinda considered competing schools. Do you think that will affect my chances, or if admission officers will think Princeton is not my top choice? Any thoughts?
You don’t have a choice. You need to send all transcripts for college courses taken.
No, it will not affect your chances.
lol, dude.
I took two Summer Session courses at the University of Chicago and I talk about my experiences and different aspects in many different applications. I highly doubt that the any school would care. Its more likely that they will be impressed if you did well in the Harvard course (and if it isnt a known pay-for-A).
If the CEO of Burger King was going to apply for an executive position at McDonalds, do you think he would mention that he is the CEO of Burger King?
Just to clarify, you don’t need to send an official transcript to Princeton (and check with other schools as to what their policy is) you can send an unofficial. Some schools only take an official transcript and some will take an unofficial from your Guidance Counselor.
