Hey guys, I noticed that on the Columbia website it says to not attach a resume. However, my resume is really well detailed and there are not even close to the amount of spaces I need to put in all my EC's.

So my question is, should I still attach my resume?

i had the EXACT same question. There was so much stuff i couldn't put in my application but i decided not to send the resume anyway. I figured it was more important to follow the application directions.

It doesn't say you absolutely cannot send a resume. I read that a few people did, and I don't think if you do they will throw it out or not read it. I think you should send one as long as its concise. I'm not sure though. I'm applying to Columbia and I'm sending in a one page resume because one of the activities I'm involved is somewhat obscure and I needed to say what it was really.

If the website says specifically not to attach a resume, then I wouldn't suggest it. I understand that you might have a lot of accomplishments, but not following their guidelines might hurt your chances instead of help them. If you feel that you need to send something in, because you have accomplishments that don't fit in anywhere else, make sure it's to the point.

Yeah i just had my interview today and he asked if I attatched it. I said no but he said since it was very well detailed he will make sure they get it.
I would suggest not attatching

I'm going to anyways because some of my activities are really obscure. And because I'm home schooled, and all the colleges I'm applying to say SEND MORE STUFF! :P
