Sending ACT Scores?

Hello! I just had a quick question. I didn’t do so hot on the ACT and got a 24. I plan on taking it again (Duh), but recently my class was visited by a University of Texas at Austin college admission counselor, and he told us to summit all score. He said that the college liked to see improvement, especially if the scores were bad the first time around. Would this be applicable to all colleges? Would it be smarter just to send the good ACT score?

That rule is not applicable to all colleges. You should search up the specific rules for whatever colleges you’re applying to.

Also, if they ask for all scores, send them all. You may think that only sending a good score would be the smart move, but think about how much hard work is shown if you can submit a 24 and then a 30, for example. Colleges look very favorably on that kind of dedication. Additionally, if you don’t send all scores and they somehow find out, you could be banned from admission for breaking the rules of full disclosure.
