although uchicago has reasonable space for explanation of ecs, the restrictive format is still less comforting to me than my simple, bulleted, explained, brief, professional activities list.

would it get thrown away if i sent it to uchicago? would/could it be read alongside the application?

If I remember correctly from last year, they had a page in which you could write things that couldn't really fit in the regular app... I'd just use that space to explain your ECs further...

It won't get thrown away. Nothing you send will get thrown away. Use the activities list we provide, but feel free to give us your own things.

let it be known that libby pearson is my favorite person in the universe, and might just be the most helpful person in existence.

uchicago is pretty user-friendly too.

Haha that was a pretty bad attempt at sucking up.

Yes, it's better to some how squeeze her name into the refrain of a song.

dude, its not like shes directly impacting my application. she doesnt even know who i am. i was just commending her accommodating attitude.

plus, you would know if i was writing a song.

anyway, ive always had a certain fondness for the haiku:

oh, libby pearson!
makes me want to go to the
u of chicago!

perhaps you rather enjoy the cinquain?

libby

guiding students to Chicago
my hero!

for the few of you who prefer the diamonte:

libby
cooperative, supportive
posting, guiding, advising.
where was she before?
sleeping? admitting? knitting?
perplexing, interesting.
