Are you supposed to send your AP Exam scores to colleges? If so, do you have to send all of them? For example (and this is just an example because I'm only in one AP class anyway, I haven't taken the exam for it), if I got a 3 on one exam and a 5 on another, could I just send the score for the one I got a 5 on or would they be suspicious of the other score? And also, if you don't pass the exam, does it still show up on your records that you took it but didn't pass it?
Thanks :)

You usually only send them after you have decided to attend that college. When you fill out the bubble sheet during your AP tests in your senior year, you can fill in a code corresponding to your college that informs the College Board to send your scores to that institution.

Also, your school might record down what scores you got and report that with the rest of your results, so trying to hide a lower score would not be advisable…

i got a 3 on one exam and a 5 on the other. i talked to my “godfather” [very close, family friend who sent both of his kids to good colleges, cornell and ut austin]

and he told me that send your scores to schools that you really want to go to but are borderline for. dont hide the three, because it may look like you failed the exam, even if you didnt. so send both of your scores. just send them max two colleges though, because it is expensive and they really make a difference once you’ve decided to attend a certain college.

=P hope this helps!
