Sending first semester grades for RD?

I received an e-mail after my WUSTL application was complete saying:

"As additional grades and/or test scores become available, please be sure to have them sent to our office."

Considering I had a 4.5 (3.8 UW) with 4 APs and my only B in AP Chem it would help my case for admission, but how do I do this?

Do I have my counselor fill out a form saying what my grades are then mail it to Wash U?

Most schools require that something official come directly from your school, so that sounds about right.

The common app has a mid-year report form for your counselor to fill out.

I looked at the mid year report and it has no section to report grades, just updated class rank and GPA.
So do you think an updated transcript would suffice?

^ I’m pretty sure an updated transcript gets sent by your school as well. The same process as the first school report.

The CommonApp form states that only if there is a significant problem is the entire form to be filled out (like the guidance counselor’s rec, which was done initially). The counselor fills out the top portion of the form and attaches an official transcript and mails it to the institution (and any other insituttion which requires mid-year reports) in the addressed and stamped envelope you provided.
