Sending in Application

I have been gathering everything for the past month for my transfer application and I'm finally done. I want to send everything around mid January. The schools I am applying to have rolling admission with the latest being july to hand in an app. Does it make any difference handing it in early? Or will I just get a response back faster.

If it is a rolling admissions school, should definitely make a difference to get it in early.

If not rolling admissions, should not make any difference. Often they don’t even review apps at these schools until the deadline.

So handing it in early may seem like I am eager to transfer to the school? because that’s what I wanted to go for

I agree with Andale. If the school is rolling admissions then send the application as soon as it is ready. A rolling admissions schools decides as the applications comes in. Hence, rolling admissions. Usually takes 3-5 weeks to receive a notice. It might be even sooner.

If it is not rolling, then it will not make a difference. For example, if the deadline is April 1 and whether you send it in on January 1 or March 31, there will be no difference. Most of these schools are too busy with Freshman applications, that they will not even begin to look at them until they have completed their freshman evaluations.

Ah very good, the transfer deadline is not until june 1st ad handing it in january will show I WANT to go to their school haha, thanks for the responses!
