Sending in test scores... Should I or Should I Not.

Hi, it's this time of the year, and I'm pretty excited actually.

Anyways. I am applying to many schools, but since Stanford has restrictive early action, I'm focused on their application atm. They say that they want all of my test scores, from all dates.

I got a 32 in the February 2012 ACT and a 36 with just one 35 sub and 9 essay in the February 2013 ACT, so I'm not too worried about this. The problem is my SAT score. I took one (I don't remember when, which shows you how much bias I have towards the ACT) and got a 2220, with CR670 M780 WR770. I took it again sometime later (again, don't care to remember) and got a 2220 again, with CR730 M730 WR760.

Now of course this is nowhere near a stellar score, but it's not terrible either. It's on the border, the no man's land. I'm for just sending them all in, because not sending in my SAT or sending it in isn't going to decide whether I get into Stanford or not, I think. I mean seriously.. If my supplement and essays are good enough, the 2220 isn't going to deter them, and if they aren't good, then having the 2220 isn't going to be a diff anyways. My parents aren't so sure. What should I do?

Note: I took like 2 practice tests for the ACT and didn't really prepare much (honest) for the ACT, and got that. For the SAT, prepared my ass off, and got that :(. I guess i'm one of those people who are the ACT type. And I'm sure there have been a lot of these kind of posts, so sorry for the repost!

What’s the dilemma?

Whether or not you send the SAT scores has nothing to do with the admission decision and everything to do with complying with test reporting requirements. What is unclear about?:

Agreed lol u really dont have a decision to make.

Do they cheat on their taxes, too?

Got your point guys. Thanks.
And dodgersmom, you don’t have to go that far, I mean, yes they are being unbearable atm because of the stress but still…

You’re quite right, and I apologize. But it still disturbs me that your parents would second-guess this. They should be the first to tell you to follow the rules and not worry about it.

BTW, a 36 on the ACT and a superscore of 2280 on the SAT is NOTHING to be concerned about! :)

You should not worry at all to send them both scores even if they do not ask for all scores.
