Sending in the picture

<p>Hey, I'm working on a mac and it says that the picture needs to be in a certain file format...so I put it into a word document but I can't figure out how to get the file size under 1 MB (and it needs to be 500 KB). Does anybody know how to do this? Or, has anybody already submitted a picture in JPG form and gotten an OK? I can't do that on my computer.</p>

<p>I know it's optional, but I really want to send it!</p>

<p>Hmm... I took mine at 800x600 with compression, put it in a regular word doc w/ headers, and the file is only around 200KB.</p>
