Sending OFFICIAL sat scores?? is it really necessary?

<p>I'm applying to 16 schools.
My school is sending my SAT scores to these schools:</p>

Washington U (st. Louis)

Johns Hopkins University
University of Maryland Baltimore county
University of Pennsylvania

Rice University
Cornell University
Georgetown
U north Carolina chapel Hill

University of Michigan at ann arbor
Mcgill university (in canada)</p>

<p>If my school is sending the scores with my transcript .... then is it REQUIRED for me to send my scores through the college board website ($10 per school)? </p>

<p>Check each schools website. Some schools say it is okay if it is on the transcript, some schools need the official score report. Make sure you make a list or something to make sure every school that needs the official reports gets one.</p>
