So, I have a really important question. Some colleges say that they require all SAT scores from all test dates...does that mean I have to send them my SAT I's if I only want them to see my SAT II's? I'm wondering specifically about colleges like Pomona and the UC schools. I only want them to get the ACT, as I got a 34 compared to my 2090 SAT, but I want them to see my SAT II's since I did pretty good (780 Math II, 760 Lit).

By the colleges’ guidelines, you have to send all your SAT scores (even if you didn’t want to send your SAT II scores, and even if you only want to send your ACT scores), I believe. Like the above poster said, however, in practice this isn’t always the case. Though beware the risk.

So, pretty much me doing better on the ACT but not as well on the SAT can still hurt me? Because the SAT scores are sent in as well? So for places like Princeton and Yale who do not use score choice, I should still send my SAT 1 scores, even if my ACT are better? But don’t they say SAT OR ACT?

I believe they just pick which of the two (SAT scores or ACT scores) to consider and ignore the other standardized test. I’m not sure though. Don’t worry about it. If you score high on any test, your lower scores won’t really matter as much. A 2090 isn’t bad to begin with.

I had the same problem as you did (with almost the exact same scores oddly enough) and what I did was contact each of the universities that I was worried about. I found out, that private universities that say they want ALL your SAT scores are only referring to the people who did not or do not want to send in their ACT. Both Stanford, Columbia, and Yale have told me that I was able to send only my ACT and not SAT 1, that I was then able to score choice ALL of my SAT 1 out. The exception is if you decide you want them to look at any of ur SAT 1, you have to send them ALL.
As for UCs, I tried emailing them, but have had no response. But im not worried about them because I do believe they just look at your highest score.
Hope that helps!

^This is not true at Columbia. From the Columbia website:

“Standardized tests are required for admission according to the following guidelines: all test scores must be submitted directly to Columbia by the testing agency. Please note that Columbia requires that students submit scores from all test dates.”
