sending PSAT scores?

Hi, everyone!
I am wondering that some schools are looking for PSAT scores, some don't. If a school does not require PSAT scores, can I still send them? And, how do you send PSAT scores? None of the schools specify how they want the PSAT score reports. Anyone has any ideas? Thanks.

probably photocopy and mail them

yeah, that's what I was thinking. I hope they are not looking for "official" school reports.

I was just wondering that, because I just got my scores back today!
Do you mind my asking how you did? :D

I haven't got mine back yet :( I'll probably get it next tuesday.

Oh, cool! How do you think you did in comparison to your SSATs?
I did really well on the PSATs, but I'm not sure about the SSATs. Just crossing my fingers, haha:]

What were your scores? And what scores are you applying to, if you don't mind?

I got a 99% on my SSAT(10th grade male). I got a 202 index. Perfect on the math section, but on my SSAT it was my lowest section. I looked up the one definition I missed on the SSAT and I saw that twice on the PSAT.

There were three sections to get scored on. On reading, I got a 97, on writing I got a 98, and on math I got into the mid-80s.

On SSAT, I did really awful. I got a 96 in math, 25 in verbal, 35 in reading and overall a 55. :(
I am hoping a better grade on the PSAT. And by the way, I am applying to sps, andover, and loomis chaffee as a junior. I am hopeless because of those miserable grades I got.

elec,

is english ur 2nd language?

Yes, english is my 2nd language. This is the second year I go to school in US.(from 9th grade)

just wanted to know, are you asian? also, try to take the toefl. i think your prospective schools will over look your weaknesses in those areas if they think you'll succeed. judging by your math scores, you will.

Yeah, I'm an asian. I have already taken TOEFL and got a 104 (out of 120).

is that good?

Well, I guess it's acceptable since Harvard, upenn, stanford's grad school requirement for international students is 100. To tell you the truth, I did not study for either ssat or toefl at all!(it's probably just an excuse :( ) My family decided to let me apply for boarding schools in september and I did not have time to study for those tests since I have to go through all the research on my own.

Yea, I did the research stuff on my own, but I'm having trouble studying for the SSAT... That's my main problem, although the schools I'm applying to don't need super fantastic scores. They want hard-working, persistant students...

Yeah, I chose to apply to these schools because they offer lots of financial aid. Otherwise I would've apply to schools that are not as selective.
