I was just wondering if I could send a SAT I score (Oct) later on for direct admit. I've already taking it once but its currently 30 points off the requirement. I want to send in my application early (like Sept) with the current score for normal admission but will I be able to send the other one after I get accepted (assuming I get accepted)?

is your gpa and class rank well within the requirements? if not i’d say apply as early as possible with your current SAT score and send the new SAT scores as soon after as possible.

if you don’t get directly admitted, i’m fairly certain you would be able to successfully appeal if your gpa, class rank and new SAT score met the requirements. i also believe you may be able to appeal if your gpa and class rank meet the requirements but your SAT score is just slightly below the requirement but i’m not as sure about that.

in any case, you’d be better off if your gpa and class rank were well within the the requirements. also realize that indiana may accept another transcript after your first semester senior year (apart from the transcript you sent at the beginning of senior year) to assess you for possible scholarships and/or your appeal to be directly admitted into kelley if you are not directly admitted. so having good senior year grades would be advantageous.

well the problem is my school doesn’t rank or have a GPA system. It’s the british system i.e. alevels etc. So I’m not sure if I meet the requirement (I think they interpret the transcript in their own way in deciding whether to direct admit) The main reason for applying earlier would be for maximum scholarship consideration so I’ll probably do that and send in the new one later since I can appeal anyway. Thanks for the help.
