sending sat scores to schools as HS Juniors- Pros/Cons

Hi,
For all you HS Juniors taking the SAT's, is it optional to send the scores to the 4 colleges that CB offers, or is it mandatory? What are the pros/cons in sending them now as opposed to later.

You must choose the schools for free reports before the Monday after the test.

Pros - It's free
Cons - Your scores might be trashed

so wat ur saying is that if i take the oct 4 SAT, send them to colleges, and i score lets say a 2000+, it will be trashed? cant i just save the scores for later on then send it?

I'm saying that, since you're a junior, the colleges may have lost your scores by the time you apply in fall 2009. What with the large numbers of seniors applying this fall 2008. And large publics will be less likely to save the information.

Save the scores for later on then send it? Sure. But it'll cost you the requisite $9.50. The free score reports must have the receiving colleges selected by the Monday after the test.

oh i see...

thank you.......
