Sending standardized test scores at the last minute

So yesterday I sent my ACT score and SAT subject test scores to some of the ivies. However, the scores are definitely going to arrive after the January 1 deadline. Did I mess up big time, or is it no big deal? After all, I self reported all my scores on my common app, so I’m sort of under the impression that they use the score reports to just confirm that my self reported scores are accurate. Not sure though, and the admission offices don’t reopen until January, so I don’t really know who to ask. Any help would be great.

Bump

You honestly shoulda probably sent them beforehand, but its NBD because most colleges don’t start reviewing all of them until much later in the game and can always update your file when they get to it.

I think it’s fine. They know various pieces of your app will come in at different times, even after the deadline. And yes, the fact that you’ve self-reported on the CA is helpful. They will also be waiting on your mid year report/updated transcript. My child’s scores showed as “received” three days after we sent them, so maybe yours won’t be very long anyway.

I’m in the same boat as you. From my research on CC, most people agree that it is fine.
