I have 2 ACT test scores. One of them is clearly better in ALL categories. The other one is worse and even without writing.

Am I required to report both scores on the Common App?

Stanford wants ALL ACT scores. So yes.

YES.

“Applicants must self-report and submit all SAT scores OR all ACT scores. After you decide which testing agency will send your scores, applicants cannot elect to use the College Board’s Score Choice or elect to “hide” any scores with either testing agency.”

just send the better one. This is your competition speaking ^

Wait, so does that mean we have to self-report all SAT scores as well, even though Stanford will get all scores through the College Board anyways? I have one SAT score that’s a 2400 and one that’s clearly worse, and I only self-reported my 2400…

I don’t think the posters above are being competitive; they are just kindly giving you information. Stanford does require you to send ALL your scores. If you select scores, I’m pretty sure it will say on the score report they receive, and they won’t like that. Just send all of them, including the one you thought you didn’t do as well on. I am in a similar situation, but I thought sending my bad ones might even help me because it just shows how much I improved. I think we have to self-report all our scores, because they’re going to see it eventually anyway.

Just send in/self report everything. Stanford has made it very clear that they want to see ALL scores.
