Senior Design II from any school!

Hello,

I am having hard time looking for a senior design II that I can take it either online or anywhere to graduate from my the university. The only time I can take this class will be next Spring 2012. The other problem it's my only class that I should take to graduate. So, I will waste my time taking only one class and nothing else to graduate. Is there any online class or any way to get around taking this class in the spring 2012. I am doing Chemical Engineering.

Thank you,

Is Senior Design II at your school not a continuation of your senior design project that you started the first semester?

No. It’s separate. Chemical Engineering is the only major that have two senior designs. Other engineering majors only have to take one semester senior design :frowning: If I could take the second senior design. It will save me so much time and money.

Mechanical Engineering has a Senior Design I and Senior Design II. But you work on the same project in both semesters. The first design is mainly anaylsis and Senior Design II is fabrication and testing of your project.

Your taking Senior I now? Is that correct?

But your school doesn’t offer Senior Design II till Spring 2012.

Your school should be offering both classes every semester. Try and see what your advisors can do for you. Usually they will let you graduate missing one class that you would have to wait to take (mine allows students sometimes). And maybe they can allow you to take an independent study and replace it with Senior II (maybe you can do your senior project in the independent study). You can’t graduate by transfering to another school unless you take so many credit hours. (So you can’t do it that way)

karmajesus45: Yes, I am taking Senior Design I right now. But I can’t take the second one until Spring 2012. It’s not a sequence. Each semester has its own project. MY advisor told me so what if you are late one semester or two. I didn’t mean to transfer to another school. I want the only credits from any school transfer to my school, so I can be finished my degree requirements. Thank you so much and appreciate your responds
