Senior Grades - SIR

Hi,

For UC Berkeley, I'm really worried about maintain a 3.0UW this semester. I'm taking 5 APs and it's getting tough.

I've already submitted my SIR to Berkeley however. Can I submit another SIR to another UC (ie. UCSD which only requires a 3.0W) as a backup?

Because if I don't get a 3.0UW that means I'm basically screwed and have to go to a CC?

Please help!

I'm in the same position. Call Berkeley Admissions and ask them what will happen if you fall below a 3.0UW.

I got a 2.83 first semester, and I visited Cal Day and went to the Admissions Office, and explained my situation. The admissions officer kindly said, as long as your senior year gpa averages out to 3.0uw you should be fine.

I think you're only allowed to SIR to one school. Although I have heard of some people who submit multiple SIRs without getting caught, so I guess you could @@. Although if you do get caught, I'm pretty sure it's grounds for rescission from both schools. But you still have like a month to pull up your grades, and 3.0 UW (with no D's and F's) is possible @@ maybe talk to your teachers.

I don't know if dropping classes this late in the semester is even possible, or how that would affect your admission/possible rescission but I guess it's another option to look into.

^88888888: Does that mean if we got a high gpa first semester we can get below a 3.0 UW second semseter?? o_O

Anyone else know? May 1st is almost here! Thanks.

Bump please!
