So, does everyone have a section in the "check your application" section that asks for your senior grades as soon as possible?

in short, yep

That will stay there too. They push hard to get first semester grades before ED, but most schools do not have them yet. Our counselor spoke with them and worked it out. If you are admitted, they will also add a line for your final transcript, and it will stay there until they get it. It is a little disconcerting to be admitted, but see your application as incomplete online, but it works out fine.

I believe you will find that across the board the people at Wash U are very reasonable. The admissions office and the aid office are both excellent. They are connected to the real world. There is a reason that Wash U makes the Princeton Review top 10 list called "School Runs Like Butter."

how much are those senior year grades worth to the application processors? my grades were simply progress reports, since all that shows up on our transcript are the semester grades and the first semester isn't over yet. my grades were not as high as they have been in previous years and im not sure how much that will affect my chances. anybody know?

Our first semester doesn't end until January. However I did pretty well first quarter so I had my guidance counselor send them my first quarter grades. In terms of how it will effect you I think colleges don't want to see you slacking off. I sent mine because I think they will help although we will see in about 4 hours.

i got an e-mail requesting my first quarter grades...am i the only one???
