Well I've decided that I want to get into a top law school, and I'm motivated beyond the definition to do so. I live in Chicago, I.L. There are some things that may stop me from achieving this task, my GPA in high school. My GPA in high school is around a 2.2. The reason for this dramatically low GPA is that I was sick freshman and sophomore year. I missed weeks but was still able to past my freshman year, and in my sophomore year I missed over 100 days and had no choice to repeat. During that period in time, my parents couldn't afford my medicine and some of my treatments. After I got my medicine and became healthy I achieved some things listed below.

:3.5 plus GPA after I repeated my sophomore year
:3.9-4.0 GPA during my junior year
:4.0 and taking all the AP and honor courses my school has to offer my senior year
: I have 4 great recommendations in place for my school(One being from Stanford graduate)

I have Extra-Curricular activities but I started my junior year:(

:Robotics for 2 years (I may can hold a leadership role this year)
: Chess for 2 years
: One Goal cohort junior, senior, and freshman year( I was selected)
:Community builder internship over the summer( Award of excellence)
The rest I started my senior year

:Build On (community help)
:Math Team(School just added this club this year)
:National Environmental club: I believe this club was just added this year( I may can hold a leadership role)
:Tutoring for all subjects( This was also implemented in my school this year)

I will continue my activities during my junior year and combine them with my senior year.

My personal statement will state my issue in school also.

Lastly, not trying to pull the complaint or race card, I'm African American and my school is a developing school. I'm studying during my free time to prepare myself anyway I can for college. I have some colleges in mind. I just need any advice that will help me out in the kind of situation I'm in. Thanks in advance:)
