Has anyone gotten their senior pictures done? How was it? More specifically, how awkward was it? I can't imagine dressing up and posing for the camera.

I just graduated, but I can remember the day I took my senior pictures. The photographer kept yelling at me because I apparently wasn’t smiling hard enough, lol. I hate posing so the whole thing was…awkward, and my mom was standing nearby laughing the entire time. The photographer cracked a weird joke and took my best pictures of me when I was laughing. :)

Haha I guess I’ll just do my best and try to drop any pretensions and just smile/laugh. Did you bring any props? I’m allowed to, but I don’t really want to … but then … I do want to get my money’s worth.

I didn’t bring anything, but a lot of my friends did (i.e. a lot of band kids brought their instruments, a friend in JROTC brought his cadet uniform, a dancer brought her ballet shoes, etc). It’s totally up to you.

When I saw this thread title I assumed you were going to ask if it’s acceptable to take your senior picture shirtless.

Haha mine was nice

Yankees, +5

No Fas it’s more like Yankees +999999999…

hahaha yankees…but yea I graduated this year as well. it’s really really awkward. photographer got mad cuz I wouldn’t smile enough and after a while your face kinda hurts from smiling so much. they turned out alright tho. wait you guys have to pay to take your senior pics? mine were free and mandatory…

Yeah at my school people had to pay and they get expensive so lots of kids (like me) just do them on their own.

I was supposed to get them done a month ago, but I rescheduled until the beginning of August. My friend (who hates smiling for pictures) said it was really awkward.
