I know I’m taking
AP psych
Research H
Band
Humanities H
Study Hall alternates (no more PE!!!)
But idk for
Math: AP calc AB or AP stats? I’m doing okay in precalc H right now I got a B on the midterm though. I was so close to an A in 2nd quarter but the class bombed a quiz so it dropped to a B+.
Science: AP bio or AP environmental science?
I know bio is a lot of work but I am interested in it but I don’t know if I can handle it. I’m in honors physics right now and I’m not doing well. But that’s physics. I was goi ng to take bio thus year but I feared the transition from sophomore normal level to AP would be too much.
Also APES is now harder at our school than you think because people cheated years ago and now it’s a pretty standard difficult ap class.
LASTLY
Spanish:I’m taking a L2 level so it is below the normal level. I’m not good at spanish speaking wise. So since I’m terrible at spanish while my friends are taking L1 or AP I’m 3 levels down so shold I drop? I’m not pursing spanish related careers and I’ve got 3 years of hs spanish by the end of the year. But will colleges notice?
I was planning on taking either a study hall, an art class, in place of it. If I can manage maybe another subject class like APES OR AP BIO for the other science but then on lab days I might get 4 periods of science. Or I could take human anatomy H because it’s interesting.
I’m just very overwhelmed right now and I’m hoping to keep the difficulty at a okay level to meet college standards but not kill myself. I’m active in Extracurriculars so school isn’t just my life!
So judge and recommend away. Thanks
Math: Calc is much harder than Stats, and with a B in pre-calc you’d probably be able to do somewhat well in Calc. So unless you’re looking for an easy class take Calc
Science: APES even if it might be hard at your school doesn’t look as good as bio. I’m in AP Bio right now as a sophomore and I received and A first semester and have an A thus far this semester. It’s a very hard class they’re are lots of difficult test and self-study, but it’s an interesting subject, I absolutely love it, it is a very difficult class but I say try it it’s not impossible. It is very different from physics.
Spanish: 4 is preferable but it would kill you to have 3. If you think that you could handle it, it would look really good and you would learn a lot I’d recommend taking it, unless you absolutely can’t handle it.
