I'm planning my senior schedule and hope to attend USMA, Air Force, or Baylor. I know what most of my schedule will look like:
-AP Lit
-AP Physics
-SUPA Econ
-JROTC
-Calculus
-Art
I can't decide what to take for my last class. My options are:
-Computer Prog (recommended for the academies but I hate the teacher, also no way to get into AP)
-Spanish 4 Honors (hate Spanish but my school doesnt offer German)
-a 2nd AP Science (probably Environmental)
-creative writing and forensics (fun and have plenty of friends who want to do them)
-late arrival/study hall
I can't decide which of these options is most appealing to both me and the colleges I'm looking at. Any suggestions?
I also am giving some thought to AP Calc AB. It would mean doing a lot of work during the summer to be able to do well though. I'm not as successful at higher math so far. Thoughts?

Is “calculus” at your school easier than Calculus AB?
If so, how are you doing in precalc (you said you struggle a little for the grades) - if you’re getting a B or lower, sticking to regular calculus may be best.
You’re having a serious schedule, so you have two choices: take two “fun” classes that you’re passionate about and make that curiosity of learning for learning’s sake part of your essays/interviews (=> creative writing&forensics), or take a class that’s recommended for the academics (Computer Prog).
I’d take creative writing, because I think it’ll make you stand out, and clearly if you’re taking AP Physics and Calculus you’re doing well for science.
The academies are insanely selective though, and not just for grades but also for many other factors. We know you have Baylor as another “dream school”, but what are your matches (you need 3-5 colleges that you like, think you can get into, and know you can afford - run the Net Price Calculators) and some safeties (2 colleges that you like, know 100% you can get into, and know you can afford.)
