Senior Schedule

Next year, I'm taking...

AP Statistics
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics C
AP German
AP Economics
Honors English IV

Will the admissions officers seriously frown upon the English IV? English isn't my mother tongue and I have a hard time in AP English classes for that reason. I can't stand English as it were and I'm applying as a Physics major...so, it wouldn't matter, right?

dont worry, it's ok

Your schedule is good enough.. admissions officers would like it that you are taking courses which interest you AND that you are challenging yourself.

I really hope I'm not making a bad decision with that schedule.

One of my friends, who got into Duke last year, dropped Honors Spanish senior year for Spanish 5 since he didn't want to bother with the AP.. he also applied to Pratt.. so I think it will only hurt you if you were planning to major in English.

Your schedule looks fine. It's seems like a very demanding and challenging courseload, and especially useful for your proposed plan. One question though, is German your native language? If not, then that would look quite impressive as you'd know German, English, and whatever your native language might be. German isn't the easiest language to learn either.

German is not my native language.

I speak English, Russian, and Ukrainian fluenty...I suppose German could be in the same boat as well, though. :D
