Hi,
I was just told that my school can't get the classes I chose for senior year to fit into a schedule. The class that I was think of dropping was AP German because my school has a horrible German program (based on testing I am still at level 2 after 4 years) and I am taking 4 other AP's that I am interested in. Is my schedule challenging enough for competitive colleges or should I try to fit AP German in somehow?

My classes as of now:
AP Psych
AP Physics
AP English
AP Calc BC
current events
band
gym

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
Thanks!

4 APs in your senior year is more than enough to demonstrate that your challenging yourself academically. It’s good that you’re in band, too - shows an interest and aptitude in music. Just make sure you work hard this year because schools WILL look at your senior year grades!! Also, use your time after school to get involved (or stay involved) in extracurricular activities. Take a couple things you’re really interested in and pursue them outside the classroom. Hope this helps!

yes that schedule seems challenging and maangeable. but does current events count as like a history? colleges like to see 4 years of that.
